    t.A.T

    Perhaps file extensions/suffixes shouldn't be trimmed
    from directory names where suffixes don't apply?

    just for fun, I tried this out. I created a folder called t.A.T.u in my music
    folder. Browsing Music Folder, I see t.A.T.u as one of the top level folders.
    This is with the Fishbone skin, latest cvs. I also tried tagging a file with
    that as the artist, and it shows up just fine as well.

    You know, I just looked more closely at it and it seems to work for me,
    the suffix is not chopped off when I create a folder called T.A.T.U.

    Are you using the latest pre-release version?
