hey guys, i have a hosfelt 5 volt power supply on the way, i was wondering if it would be worth the time to run some dedicated lines direct from the power plug on that little extension board directly to the DACs main. should i run ground, too from that main, or rerout it to maybe the big cap's ground, or can i leave that alone?
i should be able to find the pin for the power without too much trouble, and would be routing power in through a pad.
also, the 3.3 on the DAC, will changing that help or is it the FIRST one to change? i probably will only be running the 5 volt direct, and leaving the 3.3 alone.
by the way,
ive done the DAC upgrade, and i bypassed the opamps, running wire directly from the DAC ouput pins through blackgates and sonicaps to the RCA outs. (im running analog)
to me, this seems like the next best mod but if i should be doing something else first, give me some pointers!
