Delivery time?

Not wanting to sound too impatient, but how long did most of you have to wait until your Jive was shipped out?

I was sent my beta invite email on the 4th, and replied almost instantly, but I haven't had any other emails since, not even a confirmation one

That's pretty much how it goes, you just need to wait for your shipping notice. I also think that they may be between hardware versions at the moment.

ah, fair enough, I'd just been having visions of my email being routed into the abyss.

just got my hopes up when the UPS guy turned up at the door, but he was making a collection from the office next door

I didn't get any shipping notice. It just showed up at the door one day.

I was three weeks from invite to receipt - I think it just depends on hardware versions.

Don't complain, you're getting the latest one while we have the buggy ones!

Thank you for your patience while we distribute the next batch of Jive Hardware Platforms. Even though it's been less than a week, it must seem like longer when you can't wait to get your hands on one!

We do have a limited supply immediately available, and we'll be sending those out shortly via UPS. I'm hoping we have enough for everyone we invited, but I'm not sure. If you don't get one, then you'll be on top of the list for the next batch sometime in November.

but seriously, I only asked as I didn't receive any email confirmation after applying, probably a side-effect of always having to confirm this, or verify that

thought I'd crossjack my own thread to point out that SqueezeFox 0.8.1 is now available, and with multiple SqueezeBox support, and a few other requested features.
