First steps in what could be an interesting project -
in the short term it should help tidy up Last.fm (a very good thing) but in the long term, I wonder if they're thinking about developing a tagging app similar to MusicBrainz (some discussion of this in the comments section)? Would be an fairly obvious development for them and part of the "one stop music destination" plan Last.fm seems to be developing...
