Couldn't find anything by search so would appreciate some help or a point in the right direction.
I have a largeish (1200+)collection that is mainly ripped to FLAC, but I have some .wav albums also.
They are all fully tagged with artwork using Tag&rename.
When I look in the normal Album or Artist section of slimserver, the .wav albums do not appear.
I can see them if I go via the music folder route, but this is not ideal for searching etc.
The tag data all seems to be present via this route, with the exception of genre and the artist name which comes out as the name of my music directory.
Can anyone advise if there is a setting I haven't turned on or something?
I would rather not convert them to FLAC if at all possible.
All advice gratefully received
TIA

Since WAVs can't be tagged in any universally-supported way, SlimServer has to guess the details of the music based on folder structure. This guessing is controlled in Server Settings - Formatting - Guess Tags.
You'll have to rearrange your music folder or the guess structure so that SlimServer will be able to guess what it is you're missing.Current: SB2, Transporter, Boom (PQP3 - late beta, PQP1 - early beta), SBC (early beta), Squeezebox Radio (PB1 - early beta), Squeezebox Touch (late beta)
Sold: SB3, Duet
