There have been a few threads inquiring about mp3tunes and integration in Squeezenetwork. I got this reply from mp3tunes last night regarding the status of the connection:
"Happy to say that it is nearing finality. Slim Devices was acquired by Logitech as you probably know and the dust is finally beginning to settle over there. We hope to see this out shortly.
Best Regards,
--MP3tunes"
Now if we could just get someone at Slim Devices (Logitech) to actually give us a date or let us beta test)

MP3 Tunes Loading/Use
I took the plunge ten days ago - it took me 7.5 days and nights of continuous uploading on my cable network 10Mbps down/384kbps up internet link. This to upload 6500 x 128kbps m4a tracks from my iTunes.
Seems to work fine but I think transcodes to mp3 for playing back through their web application - obviously I would prefer it to replay in m4a - after all I would have stored in mp3 if that was what I wanted. Hope it replays in m4a when used with Squeezenetwork?
My dedicated Slimserver PC will be abandoned if this happens.
