Hi,
I use iTunes to set volume adjustment (akin to replay gain) on individual tracks -- I think they call it Sound Check. My understanding from reading the wiki is that slimserver will recognize these. However, when I turn on volume adjustment on my squeezebox I don't hear any difference in sound level. Am I right in assuming that selecting or deselecting the volume adjustment option on my squeezebox should result in immediate results, or do I have to restart slimserver (or the squeezebox) before I hear results? If so, any ideas why I don't hear any effect?
I am running slimserver 6.5.1 on windows XP.

It only affects on track start (at least that's what I've noticed), so switching it while a track is playing has no immediate result.
Do a track skip backward and the song should start playing again with the adjusted volume.
