    Splitting wav/cue image into tracks

I have many of my music backups as EAC's wav/cue image. Is there any way to extract individual tracks without burning the image and re-ripping?

Sure, its easy with a wave editor.
I used to use CoolEdit, but it got bought by someone like Adobe, and
they raised the price. You can also do it with any studio recording
tool, and there are several that do it with demo packages, trial
    versions, etc.

We're talking about automatic process, right? I mean splitting as per cue sheet data?

I'm unfortunately not well familiar with this kind of software, so I'd appreciate specific recommendations. "Any tool" just doesn't tell me much...

    Google for "wave editor"

    Google for "studio recording software"

Any tool works because every one that I've ever tried in the past 7
years can do it. Its like spell check in a word processing program. One
    of the basics.

A tool I've found to be excellent for this and a few other audio operations is Audio CD Image Reader (ACDIR), located @ http://nyaochi.sakura.ne.jp/xoops/mo...ares/tc_2.html. It's command line driven but very rich functionally.

I planned to FLAC all my music to avoid transcoding and to save some network bandwidth.

My question may be silly, but can I flac wav image and then use that large flac with cue sheet?
