Again those anti-cables... Regardless of how they sound, why would people pay so much for a plain magnet cable? Google for info before you buy 'em.

Out of curiosity is most magnet wire continuous cast and OFC?
I went with Blue Jeans Cables, after braiding my ChrisVH recipes a foot too short, so I'd have enough length to experiment with speaker placement. Also, I tend to believe Roger Russell, but still don't trust Home Depot zip cord.
My next try will probably be the anti-cables ($1.40/ft unterminated), unless you can point out a cheaper equavilent I can buy locally or online by the foot.
I tried the google but got stuck in the ever-interesting steve hoffman forums. http://www.stevehoffman.tv/forums/sh...ad.php?t=89629

Well, I don't currently need any more cables, so I didn't go to check availability and prices of standard alternator/magnet cable in stores, but my understanding is that this cable that can be bought unterminated much much cheaper - probably the same cable, same coating, less marketing. If it really sounds that good to you, then go for it! I just remember that single core geometry has its own problems, which is a reason why not everybody and his dog sells this kind of cable under different brands. Am I missing anything?

That's what many say. If I was interested to buy them now I'd go to the store and check, but at this moment I'm not.
Anyways, I don't believe it's so much about cable itself, but more about geometry. If solid core would be that good we wouldn't have many others. Really, it's not easy: you manage to treat induction - you increase either capacity or resistance, and vice versa, and so on...
I believe simple geometry in audio cables is plain BS, it doesn't mean it has to be expensive though.
