Wired-only version of Squeezebox 3?

Hello all,

I have found following on Amazon - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...447242-9068948 , but I can't seem to find information about "Wired-Only Squeezbox v3" on this site. Is this version even exist or guys at Electronica Direct just trying to sell older version under this title?

There is a wired version and a wireless version. 50.00 difference between the 2.

Thanks Bruce. I would think that this kind of information would be present somewhere on this site, and by "somewhere" I mean something more prominent then Community Forum, like "Buy Now!" page or "Product Info" page.

I believe that the wired version was discountinued some time last week.

That definitely appears to be the case. You should be able to find wired-only SB3s on the secondary market (eg, eBay) for a while still. A lot of those on eBay are new and in retail boxes. In recent months US$239 + shipping has been a common buy-it-now price.

Seems that's the case. The wired version is no longer listed on the "buy" page. Nice way to bump up your profit margin
Probably...........lack of demand. Most people use Squeezebox wirelessly. I have the wireless model but I use it wired. Lot less trouble.
