Qnap ts-101 wake on Lan

Just had my SB3 and qnap ts-101 with SS delivered, setup was easy, this is a fantastic piece of kit.

Does any one know of a way to get the SB3 to wake the qnap up?

You can adjust the Qnap to spin down the disk after a pre-set number of minutes of inactivity. Switching on the SB3 will wake it. Make sure you do not have 'time' set as the screensaver though as it will keep the Qnap awake. However spin down seems a hit and miss affair as some users can get it to work, others can't!

Thanks for that, I did try last night and as you say, it's a bit hit and miss, qnap seems to decide when it's ready to spin down, and when it wants to start up again!
