Windows Vista ?

No I've only tried 32 bit so far. I'm having other basic troubles with Vista eg no printer driver so I've gone back to XP, so nice when everything works!!

I too am having problems with Vista Home Premium. The SlimServer won't start. Just says it's 'starting' but never actually does. Any ideas?

Which version of SlimServer are you trying to use ?

I've been running the 64-bit version of Vista Ultimate on my PC for a while, but I'm lucky that it's pretty much all Intel based, so drivers were not a problem.

My wife's PC is a different matter. No HP printer driver, no Promise SATA RAID driver.... (yet)

I just installed Vista and SqueezeBox no workie.

Not sure since I don't use Slimserver on Windows, but maybe the service executable isnt codesigned? Microsoft puts a lot of weight on that...

Could anyone have a quick look at the event log to tell us what it says?
Or at least say _how_ it fails, whether there's an error message or
something? Can't imagine it's just failing without leaving a note...

slimserver still starting, no message and i can't open anything
