    SB3 CPU - overclocking?

From what I've read, the Transporter uses the same CPU as the SB3, only it is overclocked. Any idea how we can overclock the SB3?

Why, to add support for USB drives of course.

Transporter's CPU is not "overclocked". It is a faster speed grade, and actually comes in a different BGA package.

As far as overclocking SB3 by changing a crystal, it simply will not work for a myriad of reasons - primarily that the IO timing would then be wrong. Even if it did work, what would you hope to gain?

High frame rates during death march games is the usual reason. :-)
