Browsing the new Black SB3 images, I noticed the new backlit remote for the first time. Can't find it stocked anywhere in the UK though. Any suggestions?
cheers

Please note that the black SB3 remote is not backlit, only Transporter's.
However, you can order a backlit remote by itself from our accessories page:

Thanks Sean. Unfortunately, shipping to the UK is almost the same price as the remote. I guess I'll have to wait for a supplier to stock them in the UK.

Getting a bit confused, does the black SB3 come with a backlit remote or not.
In this thread http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=30322 someone suggests they received one "They are now shipping transporter backlit remotes with squeezeboxen.. I got one with my new one a few weeks ago."
Was that just a one off?

I ordered one direct from Slim Devices to the UK and it came to just under £29 with no extra duty to pay on delivery.
It looks nearly identical to the remote that came with my new SB3 but that one definately isn't backlit and the buttons appear slightly different as I guess the backlit one uses a different keypad.
The backlit remote is excellent for listening at night, I would recommend it to anyone.

What I want to know, is when we are going to get a Mouse wheel on the remote, to mimic the TransNav control for us Squeezebox users?

Will the backlit remote work OK with a Slimp3? It's my 'bedroom' player, and the backlit remote would make my sleepy late night listening a lot easier.

Yes, they're all compatible.
