Linkstation - free link - slimserver 6.5

Does anyone know freelink well enough to write a step by step instructions on how to install slimserver 6.5

I assume the best place to start is by installing FreeLinkomatix thus giving you most of the basics and clearing up a bit of space.

But what next?

You should probably specify that you're trying to do it on a LinkStation II with MIPS processor (HD-H, if I remember correctly). Installation on a gigabit LinkStation (HD-HG) is reasonably straightforward, but that doesn't seem to be the case with the MIPS versions.
