Slimserver + gmediaserver not compatible

Hello,

I'm trying to run Slimserver and gmediaserver on the same Linux box. When I try to start gmediaserver when Slimserver is already running I get:
gmediaserver: cannot initialize UPnP subsystem - UPNP_E_SOCKET_BIND

Has anyone else seen this and know how to resolve it?

I did test GMediaServer but not on the same box. What happens when you start SlimServer after GMediaServer?

Ah, Both run fine when started in that order.

Seems like a good workaround. Would be interesting to know what the conflict is though.

Hmmn - both started fine but there are still problems.
