An I the only one who dislikes the new sleep button behavior in 6.5?
For the past 15 months of my life I have ended every day by turning out the light, pressing 'sleep' then 'brightness' on the SB remote, then rolling over and zonking out before the tunes stopped.
Old habits die hard and I can NOT get used to pressing the sleep button twice now. So I'm always still awake when I hear the SB power off… it makes me mad and then I'm not relaxed anymore.
Is there any chance this behavior will change?
My favorite media player for the Pocket PC has a nice option. You can set the sleep time for what ever amount you want, and then there is a check mark option for "Let last song finish." I think something like that would be much preferable to the way it is now.
Also, it would be nice to have a user definable sleep increment to let users decide how many minutes are added with each button press. I'd leave it at 15 minutes, but others might find it useful to specify the increment.

Just in case it really does need to be said again: Please file enhancement requests at http://bugs.slimdevices.com

I can't fall asleep in 15 minutes, so I always press the sleep button 5 times to give a 60 minute sleep time.
Maybe I should file an enhancement request to remove the end-of-song, 15, 30 and 45 minute sleep times? That way I could save myself 4 button presses. Everyone who falls asleep quicker than me would just have to put up with it.
Mind you, old habits die hard, and I'd probably keep pressing the button 5 times anyway....

Have you tried the "Powersave" plugin, I believe this does what you are looking for.

So I guess the initial "nope" was sarcasm? How would I know that if ModelCitizen hadn't asked why not.
And, yes, it is good to be reminded that the bug tracker system is also used for enhancement requests. Even those of us who know about it, don't always think of it for that.
If anyone wants to vote for the "let last song finish" option, it's requested here: http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=4273Sue
