    Elpac Help Needed

I just received an ElpacWM075-1950 power supply, but it came with the 5 pin DIN plug. So, I cut the plug and found 4 wires, when I guess I was exspecting 2. I have a multimeter and can identify the postive and nuetral. But, I just want to make sure I don't have to do anything with the other cables.

    Thanks for any help,
    Mark

    Check out this spec sheet:

Seems some models have dual voltages, and triple voltages.

    elpac plug wiring

I just received an elpac WM075-1950, which has the 5 pin DIN plug. The part is discontinued and the previously posted .pdf specs are no longer on-line at allied electronics. Does anyone have this info, or tell me what to measure to use the proper 2 wires and insulate the others?

    easy answer

It was easy to figure out. When I removed the DIN connector cover, it was clear that only 2 DIN pins were connected to any wires, and I measured 5.12V or -5.12V between those pins, depending on the polarity of the measurement. There are 4 wires in the bundle: the white and red wires (positive) were connected to one pin, and the yellow and blue wires (neutral) were connected to the other pin.

I have the power supply with 5V barrel connector. How do I open up the power supply? I don't see any screws or anything. Thanks
