Internet Radio Question

How do I play an internet station directly instead of as a play list? I am assuming this is why my Sky FM only works for a little while then I have to go back to SHOUTcast and get the http address and re-load (I think) another more current playlist?

But when I go to skyfm I can't find any hhtp address to enter into SlimNetworks as a favorite.

Here's an example - my current SkyFm playlist? I am assuming that's the pls suffix.
Http://www.shoutcast.com/sbin/tunein...e=playlist.pls

And here's my radio paradise http address which I assume is a continual stream regardless of current playlist?
http://64.236.34.196:80/stream/1049

I think I'm missing something so any help greatly apreciated
