I'm thinking of changing the speakers I currently have and was wondering if there was anything special I should look for.
The current system is:
SB3 (coax digital out)
Yamaha RX-SL100 Amplifier
'Acoustic' (brand name) floor mounted speakers
The amp's primary goal is surround sound so I don't claim that it's the world's best hi-fi amplifier but it's not bad. I know from my previous digital amp that some speakers just don't go well with them. I'm also not a major audiophile so I don't want to spend more than a couple of hundred quid (if that) on speakers.
So - is there anything in particular I need to look for or should I just go and listen to as many as I can and ignore the issue of digital amp to speaker matching?
