It has been a few weeks since Paul's last update and just wondered if there is anymore news on the QNAP slave or external sata disk connection?

There was also talk early on about the possibility of upgrading the memory in them. What happened with that?

No news on the external sATA box yet. I will get an update.

TS-201 - our first stock will be with us around the 1st week in September. I haven't confirmed the price on it yet though but expect it to be around £30 - £50 more expensive.

Does the TS-201 bring anything in addition to the 101 other than an extra disk?

UPnP Media server as well built into the firmware. This might flow over to the TS-101 as well though.

TS-201 will have a fan as well because passive cooling on 2x HDD's is not going to happen in a small box any time soon.

Hi Paul,

Can I put in a vote for the UPnP sever to flow into the TS-101 please as I have just bought one from www.Ripcaster.co.uk and really could do with that feature as well :-)
