SS and shoutcast?

guys,

anyone know if its possible to have SS the program feed a random mix mp3 stream to shoutcast for shoutcast to broadcast?

it seems to me SS only has indvidual streams it feeds out that an individual has to dial up first from whever they are. i'd rather setup what SS dials out and let shoutcast be the public access point.

will it also feed song/artist names?

I'd also like a "public stream" but for a different reason.
When trying to play the stream in my player (Kiss) it shuts down since it does not find a stream, so I don't have the time to see the listener in the SlimServer web interface.
I have assumed this is the reason, but perhaps this is due to some other things I'm (not) doing...
