QNAP slowness

I'd be happy to get 7 or 8 MB/s. Isn't a Wireless-G connection the limiting factor in achieving that speed ?

I'm experiencing significantly SLOWER speeds: a 700MB file is taking 40 MINUTES to copy to or from my TS-101. Why? No idea. But perhaps someone can advise.

Are you doing the copy across a wired or wireless connection?

As a test can you perform the same thing via a wired connection? Possibly it's your wireless setup that's the "problem" here.
