Cool Music for gettin' it awwn

Can you guys recommend me a playlist to use as background music for inspiring/during bedroom aerobics? I need some ideas to add some sexy ambience just in case Mrs Delbz gives the word.

I'm not talking about mellow romantic mood music with saxophones.

I thought Barry White, Enrique Englasias etc might be good.

No jokes about only needing 6 minutes worth of music either.

Remember guys, this is a family forum

Personally, I find Madonna works pretty well (particularly the Erotica album, unsurprisingly). I'd also throw in maybe some Zero 7 and/or Air.

    Kraftwerk

Seriously, I'm listening to some Curtis Mayfield right now. That could do the trick.

Serge Gainsbourg, Je t'aime moi non plus (a song)

Funki Porcini, Going down (a song)

Dj Krush and Toshinori Kondo, Ki-OKU (an album)

Miles Davis/Bill Laswell, Panthalassa: the music of Miles Davis (especially the first and fourth tracks)

Antonio Carlos Jobim (brazilian jazz/bossa nova)

From a female POV… Dave Matthews does it for me, the Crash album in particular. Also INXS, Chris Isaak, Robert Plant, and Jack Johnson are good bets. Some songs by U2, Peter Gabriel, Dire Straits, Jethro Tull, Santana, Daniel Lanois, David Gilmour, Sting, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Coldplay.

Barry White or Enrique Englasias would have the opposite effect on me, though, so maybe Mrs. Delbz has different musical tastes.

    Good luck!

Apparently the #1 song for this (don't know how they rate this) is Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven.

Could work - starts out slow, gets fast and loud, then ends slow again. ;-)

When I was growing up in Connecticut in the '70s and '80s, one of the radio stations played "Stairway to Heaven" every single night (for like 10 years), timed so that it ended at exactly midnight. Now I know why!
