Last track best track

Listening to Hard-Fi Stars of CCTV I was struck by the thought "what other album has it's best track (IMHO) as the last track"

Usually in my opinion the last tracks are fillers but in this case it certainly isn't true.

I have been racking my brain put I am Hard pushed to find another one with the exception maybe of Billie's album "Honey to the B" and the last track "don't forget to remember". However the use of the word best in this case is very relative.

Does anybody know of an album where they consider the last track to be the killer and not just a filler.

or Revolver - Tomorrow Never Knows
or Let It Be - Get Back / Let It Be depending on the version
or Please Please Me - Twist And Shout

I could probably discuss this all day, as evidenced by my extensive list. Heck, I think it calls for a "Best Of Last Tracks" mix disc. Like Nikhil's choices (good job with the Beatles picks, BTW), these are not necessarily the best on the album, but certainly not filler, at least to me. I'm sure many will disagree.

The Presidents of the United States of America - Headin' Out from Freaked Out and Small. You know it's the last song on the album just hearing it. Kind of a melancholy "goodbye" song.

Yeah, those are the kinds of music questions I love. They make me evaluate my music collection in a different way and in the course of doing so I often find things I'd forgotten about. _Physical Graffiti_ in general is an example here. _Something In The Way_ would have been a rediscovery today except that it's been on my mind because I saw it used to such great effect in Sam Mendes' _Jarhead_ a few weeks ago. (Coincidentally, I gather that Sam is a Led Zeppelin fan, as he specifically mentioned _Physical Graffiti_ with regards to one of the ending scenes in _Road To Perdition_.)

I'm definitely going to distill that list down to a mix CD, maybe with a companion mix for best first tracks. _The Joshua Tree_ gets to be represented there again, and possibly _Empires_ for the obvious bookending (if you know the album), but I'll leave that list for another thread.

Actually - Pet Shop Boys : Kings Cross is (IMHO) the best track on this classic album, and one of their best ever. I speak as a certified megafan
Introspective - Pet Shop Boys : It's Alright
Very - Pet Shop Boys : Go west ('nuff said)
Change or Die - Sunscreem : Be of Good Heart probably isn't the best on the album, but it's certainly not filler.
Looking at You - Sunscreem : This remix album concludes with the one of the best ever versions of one of their biggest ever hits, Perfect Motion. Needless to say, not filler
Deliverance - Baby D : Let Me Be Your Fantasy is pretty much the best track they ever did (which isn't saying that much, I realise).
Dirty Vegas - Dirty Vegas : The acoustic version of Days Go By is really excellent.
Morning SciFi - Hybrid : Blackout is a spine-tingling masterpiece. Unmissable.
Resist - Kosheen : The last track on this album is the one that made them famous, the Creamer & Stephane K mix of Hide U.
Elephunk - Black Eyed Peas : A bit of a cheat here, the best track is Let's Get Retarded - but the last track is the "radio friendly" renamed version Let's Get It Started.
Dummy - Portishead : Glory Box is a bit of a classic.
Experience - Prodigy : A lot of people consider Death of The Prodigy Dancers a classic.
Substance - New Order : The last track of disc 1 is True Faith. Best track on the album? One of the best of the century 1963 (the last track of disc 2) is pretty fine also.
Tiesto - Just Be : His version of Barber's Adagio for Strings may not be for everyone, but it's one of his recent standout tracks.
Tiesto - In My Memory : Suburban Train is the last track here and is one of my personal faves.
