What about the Linux version? Wanted to test, but my Linux box isn't on
SVN and the nightlies are broken...

Any chance of getting album art (esp in fullscreen) working again?
I've had a skin idea to work on for a while, but the album art support
seems to have been removed at some point.

Sourceforge seems to have a problem right now, too. Whether I click that
link or google around I get a "500 - Internal Server Error". Bad luck for
today. I'll try tomorrow. Thanks.

Version 2.7 works fine for me on a Mac OS X Powerbook 10.4.6. The scrolling between screens is still a bit jerky (compared to version 2.3) but it is improved from 2.4 and 2.5 and cosmetic only. (It was really nice in 2.3 though.) I have had no problem playing music and the double key press issue is solved.
Thanks for your work on this.

I still see the same behaviour as before (grey border).
Additionally it does not seem to be working any more at all on Linux (at
least not on my SlimCD :-/). I'm getting the following exception:

Hmm, it looks fine on my PC. Can you post a screenshot?

Nothing here has changed recently, what was the last version that worked
for you?

2006-06-27, 12:40 #18I don't know why it now is working even on SlimCD. I tried again here at home (though I did both tests on VMWare) and the update worked flawlessly. So here's the screenshot from SlimCD. The border problem is the same on Windows (or even worse: it's a lighter grey than on Linux).

Very minor but Softsqueeze 2.7 with excession-thin on Windows XP with Sun Java Version 1.5.0 (build 1.5.0_06-b05) has the LCD screen a few pixels too low and to the right. Softsqueeze 2.3 doesn't suffer from this.

See:

for the effect. Bottom images is 2.7 top is 2.3. Both run on same machine.
