Hi,
I'm more or less done with ripping my collection (about 150 discs, I get
really scared reading about people with more than 1000 discs to rip ;-))
to flac.
I tagged everything with MusicBrainz; put the correct cover.jpg's into
the respective folders, replaygained the files (by the way, thanks to
robin for apply_replaygain and flac2mp3). I feel quite like the hero of
digital music libraries ;-) What I didn't to was to save the cue files;
maybe I just haven't found the necessary option in dbpoweramp.
Is there a tool that creates just the cue file from a CD without needing
to rip the tracks? I'd spend a rainy weekend to read the cues from my
150 discs but re-ripping everything just to throw the flacs away and
keeping the cues would take way too much time...
Regards,
Hakan

If you're a Windows user, Exact Audio Copy provides a "Create Cue Sheet" option which may be just what you're looking for.

Public CUE Sheet Repository?
Are there any Public repositories which store CUE sheets? Seems like an obvious extension to the service that places like freedb already provide, and would save an enormous amount of duplicated effort the world over.
Just Curious,

There are a few around (use your favourite search engine), but I'd trust them as much as I trust freedb. I.e. - I don't.
It's relatively easy to visualy inspect the results from freedb. I can't imagine trying to do the same with a 30 line plain text file.
