Hello,
I just did an svn update, it updated 3 or 4 files to get me to build 6448. I restarted slimserver. But now I get no audio in softsqueeze. I see all the information (progression bar, artist, title and spectrum) but no sound at all is coming out of my speakers. I check and I do have sound. My server is running on a gentoo server. I run softsqueeze on a windows XP desktop.
I'm not sure which debug variable I should ty to turn on. BY default it doesn't show anything in the log when I'm playing.
Thanks for your help!

I turned some debug flags on and I ended up with this:
no space left on device
2006-03-01 16:59:24.7927 DBI: Supressing periodic commit - no dirty items
2006-03-01 16:59:32.7243 forceCommit: syncing to the database.
I have space left on the device (I'm not at 42% used). Not really sure where it's coming from though. I think I'm going to delete the DB and force a rescan...

aaaarrgghhh. I'm a freaking idiot!
I tried on another computer and it worked fine. It turns out that for some reason when I updated from svn it turned the volume of my softsqueeze all the way to zero.
Banging my head on the wall...but at least I can now do it while listening to my music.
