You may have noticed that I've got a 'thing' about synchronisation. It
was something I wanted to use right from the word go and, now I'm
synchronising real Squeezeboxes rather than SoftSqueeze and have
eliminated wireless, I have rock solid synchronisation - no hiccoughs
and track information has always been correct when I've looked at it.
It's been like that for 3 days so far I think - a record for my system.
Having reached this happy nirvana you think I'd shut up about it
wouldn't you? Well, not quite ;-)
I really like Moose but whenever I use it synchronisation drifts very
quickly, often within the first track after I start it. If I exit Moose
the 2 Squeezeboxes stay synchronised once they've started the next
track; restart Moose and they drift.
I can only think it must be server load. SlimServer is running on a
1.1GHhz PIII laptop with 512Mb RAM. Is there anything I can do about it
apart from not running Moose, which is where I am at the moment, or
buying a new laptop (as much as I like Moose that may be a little
excessive!).

I should have known better than to tempt fate like that - the track
details have been crap all day with track information more often wrong
than correct AFAICS :-/
Yet again SlimScrobbler has been submitting the correct information,
it's just the web interface and thus the Squeezeboxes displaying the
wrong data.
