I apologize if this is referenced elsewhere in the forums - I've looked around and haven't found a post specifically addressing this issue, but that may just mean I haven't looked in the right places.
My question is: if Squeezenetworks allows you to subscribe to RSS feeds, can you use it to subscribe to podcasts? What is the preferred method of getting podcast subscriptions to the Squeezebox? I suppose I could set up my podcasts through iTunes and let Squeezebox see those playlists, but then I need to run iTunes every time I want to update my podcasts. The beauty of Squeezebox (for me, at least) is that I don't need to run iTunes any more to listen to my music collection.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

There is currently no support for podcasts in SqueezeNetwork, but it's certainly
something we'd like to add.

Thanks for the response
Thanks for the quick response. I don't really know how the Squeezenetworks RSS integration works, but I know that podcasts are just one more tag in the XML. Of course, knowing the location of an MP3 file is a far cry from successfully organizing, updating, and streaming that file on demand. (I'm a web developer, so I'm used to people asking me "well, if you can do X, can't you just tweak it to do Y? By 3:00??")
Podcasts or no, this is a great product and I can't wait to see what's next for it.

Podcasting on SN would work using the existing Podcast plugin, so it's more a
matter of just building a new page on SN for entering Podcast feeds. It would
be separate from the current RSS page I think. Also, it will always stream the
file directly from the source, since there is no local storage available when
using SN.

So there's an existing podcast plugin for SlimServer? Maybe I'm silly, but I couldn't find it in the Plugins section of the wiki. Do you know where I could find it? Thank you again for the information.

Finally found it
Awesome, I finally found it. I had been playing with Softsqueeze this whole time, but last night my Squeezebox finally arrived, and now I'm getting to see all the cool things it can do. I'm totally in love, and the Squeezenetworks integration just makes a great thing even better. Kudos to you and your fellow developers!

Specifically
It's in the Slimserver -> Server Settings -> Plugins and about halfway down on the page.
