    Sounds like a plan!

But seriously, I am yet to find their limits with either orchestral, dance or rock.
They just keep getting louder without any dynamic compression.
They image like crazy and just keep me smiling.

    Here's my living room set-up:

The Squeezebox is obviously in front of my tapedeck. It's a classic.
Amplifier is an Audio Analogue Bellini Pre and Donizetti Power amplifier.
The record player's a Modified Thorens TD-160B with a Linn Basik arm and Goldring Eroica LX I'm borrowing from a friend.
I own a Rega P25 with RB250 arm and Goldring 1022GX myself and a Seiki DQX500. Even though the Thorens 'should' be the least interesting record player of them all the modifications have brought it to a whole new level. It kicks my other two players' (And the Technics SL-1200 with Denon DL-110 I'm using in my 'studio' setup) asses.
I'm going to build a similar Thorens myself. The record player will be up against the wall soon instead of on the little table.
I'll make a record player shelf with some room in it for my Squeezebox and some remotes.
Then there's a Myryad T-10 CD player and a Nakamichi BX-150 cassette deck.
There's a ESI U24 USB Sound Card hidden somewhere. When I want to record something, I hook a laptop up to that soundcard.

    Speakers are Magnepan SMGa's.

Very nice setup. You have identified everything but that vintage reel to reel tape deck. It looks very familiar (from my old college radio days back in the mid 1970s) but I can't remember the name. Perhaps you would be kind enough to help me with the name. Thanks!
