There is this (relatively) large 3300uF cap on the main board on the SB2. What is the purpose of this cap, and might there be any benefit to replacing it w/ a fancy Blackgate cap of the same capacitance? Looks like it'd be an easy swap...

It filters the voltage feeding the linear regulators for the DAC and op-amp supplies. You can put something bigger in there if you want.
