Hello.
How long does it take to connect to slimserver?
Mine takes forever, and have not yet succeded. I suspect it might have to do with the user. I have setup the slimserver 6.1 on my Gentoo Linux-server with the user "slimserver". Is this correct? remember something about the user should be "slim" now. Is this the likely problem? and if so, is there an easy way to fix this?

additional info: I know slimserver is on the lan, I can ping it, same with squeezebox. Also, webinterface is working.

correction: it just plain can't connect. doesn't hang forever
