    6.1b2 issues

    1. When using Browse Music Folders, accented characters don't appear properly. I have a folder which contains an a-umlaut. It shows properly in the bottom line of the display, but when I go into it, the top line of the display shows a blank space where the a-umlaut should be. This did not happen in 6.0.2.

    2. The scrolling up/down behavior seems to have changed in a way that looks weird with a non-standard font. If you install the font at http://www.klio.org/pictures/slimser...ard.2.font.bmp (as standard.2.font.bmp), you'll see that scrolling up/down looks like it's just twitching around. Do I need to do something with that font, is there something wrong with the code, or is that just the way that style of animation looks with those letter forms?

I uploaded a possible fix, but don't know whether it will work on other
systems, too. Any feedback is appreciated.

Another problem: Under "Browse Genres", there's an option for "No Genre". In it is listed 1) a seemingly random collection of my artists, and 2) some (maybe all) of my actual genres. Drilling down is seemingly normal, except there are no songs. Weird.

No genre should contain the songs that don't have any usefull genre
information (tags). Please check some of the files to be sure it's not a
    tagging issue.

That's just it: There are no files under No Genre. I can browse down two levels deep under it, but there are no files in any of the directories once I get to the last level of the browse. And the albums that it lists under No Genre are all in their proper genres, with all their songs in them in the proper place.

I did a wipe and rescan, and it's still there, too.

The same with me. There is also schown a link "no genre" when browsing genres. When I click on "no genre" neither any files nor any albums are shown. All my files are tagged correctly with genres so "no genre" shouldn't exist.

Do you have playlists in your music folders?

I experienced similar problems when I left a playlist that I had generated
on Windows and my Linux server tried to interpret that list. It wasn't
lucky as the paths contained backslashes whereas Linux expected forward
    slashes.

    SlimServer Version: 6.1b2 - 3085 - Windows XP - EN - cp1252

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but in 6.1beta2 when I go to Server Settings > Plugins and attempt to change something, the page never refreshes and the changes do not take. I tried a few different skins and it's the same with all of them (fishbone, default, default2).

Edit: Whoops! My mistake. I was using Maxthon browser when I posted this. I tried in IE and it works fine.
