I know this topic has been discussed many times in this forum but I am still having problems. I am running Windows XP. I need to map to 2 network drives on computer AQUA. Computer MAGMA is running SlimServer. So I have tried the following:


Mapping both drives on MAGAMA.
Making sure the access priviledges are set to an account that can access network resources (for the SlimServer service).
Creating a folder on MAGMA e.g. "C:\slim music".
In this folder placing shortcuts to the network drives using the full path e.g. //server/path.


I might be being stupid here but any suggestions / pointers in the right direction would be really helpful! Still having no luck it.
