    Question Slimserver Upgrades

    Hi,

I'm running Slimserver 6.0.2 with my squeezebox2. I joined squeezenetwork, but my understanding is I need to upgrade the firmware on my SB2 to support squeezenetwork and that is done by upgrading Slimserver. Is all this correct? And, has the upgrade been smooth for everyone? My SB2 and server is operating great, (except no squeezenetwork), and I don't want to mess things up.

yes, you need the 6.1 beta.

Talking Thanks - It works great!

I did the upgrade. It went flawless and works great! I thought the added sound effects were dumb, but when my wife heard them she had me running through each one to sample. It really raised the WAF. Looks like I'm the dumb one...

THANK YOU Slim Devices for a very enjoyable product.

Unhappy May not be so good?

I upgraded on Friday and it worked fine. By Saturday it can no longer connect to my wireless network.

    Any ideas?

What version of SlimServer were you using when the MAC address
changed? We've been trying to nail down this nasty bug and we think
we got it in version 6.1.1, but are investigating occurrences.

Also, what value was the MAC address changed to?
