I can't see stocks as well with my Duet controller. I'll take a look at the code as well.

Edit: What the URL "http://finance.yahoo.com/d/quotes.csv?s=YHOO&f=sl1d1t1c1ohgvpn&e=.csv" actually does is output data in comma separated value (.csv) form. This is most likely to set up each piece of data in it;s own field. You should actually be prompted to save a file and you can look at .csv files in Excel among other apps.

Come to think of it I don't think I ever added stock display functionality for Duets... It shouldn't be too hard. I'll add to to my list of things to do... I'm traveling a lot again so no guarantees until that settles down and it's cold outside

Is anyone else having an issue where the display gets stuck on tonight's forecast? I can't get it to display future sports games or even keep alternating between forecasts.

Any help is appreciated.

Could have been a network connectivity issue and it's given up refreshing. Try hitting the + remote button to force one. You can also try cycling SqueezeCenter.

Thanks - I think part of it may be that I just misunderstood the normal operation. I was thinking that it would scroll from day to day without having the long weather scrolling on. Combine that with the absence of NFL stuff since its Saturday

I had installed your plugin and its worked great.
When I upgraded to 7.2, I had problems not only with your plugin, but with 7.2 itself.
I've now gone back to 7.01 and your screensaver doesn't work.
The snow screen saver works, and the original Date and Time screensavers work.
I currently have 5.62 installed. c:\Program Files\SqueezeCenter\server\Plugins
Anyway I can debug this.
One thing I noticed is that even deleting the old plugin folder and installing a new one, all the data I put into your were still there (Favorite teams, stock ticker symbols)
Any suggestions on how to debug this?

Ignore my last post. I ended up uninstalling everything and then reinstalling and got the problem fixed.

hi, I'm having celsius/fahrenheit display issues. I've just upgraded to SC7.2 and as a result had to update my SDT version. I installed the latest version of the plugin (5.7.0). I had to do the fontcache delete thing because the lines on the display were overlapping. This fixed that problem. I also went into the superdatetime.prefs file and changed all instances of %_5/%_7 to %_6/%_8 as the instructions earlier in the thread indicated it was necessary to do (and which had worked on the earlier installation of SDT) to get the 10 day forecast to display in C. This was successful in changing 10 day forecasts to C. Unfortunately, the current temp is still displaying in F. I don't know how to change this. I feel like I'm missing something really simple, but I can't find any explanation of the variables in the prefs file, and there doesn't seem to be anywhere in the Squeezecenter plugin prefs page to change the display (there is the Long Weather Forecast Display section which I've changed from F to C, but that doesn't alter the format of the currently displayed temp). There are no other weather related options within the Squeezecenter config page that I can see that appear relevant. There's just the field where you indicate your location and a 'weather underground' field.
Basically, my question is what do I change to display the current temp in degrees C? I realise I've probably missed something really straightforward, but would very much appreciate it if someone could point out what I need to do - I have no idea whether 61F is hot or cold

Edit: never mind - I've managed to work it out: %t in the superdatetime.prefs file needs to be %T (I don't know why I thought to try that, but obviously it worked). Is there anywhere these variables are documented? I couldn't find anything in the SDT directory or on the download page - is it somewhere in this thread?)

Change ' - "%_5/%_7"' -> ' - "%_6/%_8"'
Save file and close editor
Start SqueezeCenter

Hi froth, on what platform are you running Squeezecenter? If we know that we can help identify the location of superdatetime.prefs

I have managed to solve *all* my problems by digging around in the Squeezecenter settings. I don't know if it will assist anyone else, but there are further configuration options available in the player tab (using the drop down menu that's initially labelled "Basic Settings"). All my answers re configuration were answered there.

Mine is now hanging up sometimes on the weather logo. I hit the + button a couple of times and it comes back. I'm using the latest ver 5.7.0 .
I have been using this for over a year and this is the first time I have seen this happen. Also I have the latest version of Squeeze Center.
