No software firewall. Everything was fine until I upgraded. I can access the Squeeze Network without any problem.

I am NOT able to access any internet radio sites via the SqueezeCenter I get the following error:

There was an error loading the remote feed for Radio IO: (malformed JSON string, neither array, object, number, string or atom, at character offset 0 ["Slim/Networking/SqueezeNetwork.pm line 259. )

I have no idea what this means? Where do I find the log files?

I couldn't find an interface for changing the DateTime screensaver settings so I manually edited prefs/plugin/datetime.prefs and put my format in there. After restarting slimserver, everything worked fine.

To make all of this simpler, I've made a few minor modifications to your plugin and attached the patches here. These simply take advantage of the system-wide Long Date Format and Short Date Format preferences. Hopefully these can make it into your regular release. ;-)

I'm not interested in the icon scrolling, just line 1 or 2 scrolling within the area to the right of the icon. Basically, some way to tell the scroll method that the left margin is at the right of the icon and 3 line text. I hope this makes sense, 'cause it's a little hard to explain.

Hmmmm... Not sure what that error means exactly... but it's obviously some sort of connectivity issue. Have you tried rebooting the server?

Thanks for the suggestion. A long time back the plugin actually utilized the regular preferences but some requests came in to allow for a separate setting. I re-used the other screen saver's preference to avoid further expanding the already lengthly SuperDateTime preferences page.

I know what you're saying. Unfortunately the text libraries I'm using do not offer any sort of margin adjustment.

    BP helped me fix it.

    http://forums.slimdevices.com/showth...d=1#post242026

Somehow the install routine for 7.0 picked up a web proxy address. Not sure how that happened but removing it from the settings made everything a-ok

Thanks. and double thanks for a great plug in.

    New problem.

Plugin is working but I am unable to get the time and windspeed to show.

I have attached a snippet of my settings

Add: I am using the full font size (single line)

    Greg,

Update. Now the windspeed shows up but it ALWAYS says calm. No matter what, calm. I tried changing zip codes, same result.

    Suggestions?

    Thanks

    Bruce

    Hey Bruce-
Thanks for the post, think you may have found a bug.

I don't have time at the moment, but I'll have to investigate.

    Greg,

No problem. Let me know if there is anything you want me to do.
