In my case, optical input was not an option. My
experience was that better filtering between the
squeezebox p/s and the powerline was irrelevant. The
inteference was propagating through the RCA
connections and radiated via the wiring in my stereo
(whether or not it was in use.)
My solution was a cheap no-name switching PS from
eBay. It had the same specs as the original except
for the connector (which I cut from the original and
attached to the replacement.) It wasn't much bigger
than the original.
The folks at Slim Devices seem to be mindful of the
issue as well -- they also asked me which one I used.
