I am running Slimserver V 5.4.0 on OSX 10.3.8 when i try to connect my
squeezebox to the server it goes through al the set up, says 'Set up
complete: press right to use your squeezebox'. When I do the screen goes
blank and pressing any key brings up the error message 'Problem: Lost
Contact - Check software is running'
I can ping the Squeezebox from the Mac running the Slimserver.
The Squeezebox has worked before on this machine but was connected to
another Mac for a few months and not really used.
Any help most appreciated. Thanks

Is the server rescanning the music library when you get this error?
If you wait a while it may connect.
