re: executing binaries on a squeezebox

Cool, thanks. One of these times I'm gonna remember to do a bugsearch before I pipe up with my two cents. ;-)

    WOL functionality?

    Sorry for being slow/dump/a non-developer:
I have a setup with a PC running WinXP and SB2 receiving whatever I throw at it. I can remotely (from another PC) shut down the Slimserver PC, and I can remotely (from another PC) send a magic packet that triggers the WOL functionality of the Slimserver box.
What I *would* like to is change the shutdown from a remote action to a locally initiated action by the PC (i.e. using the power scheme either in the BIOS or the OS) - this I can do, and change the wake on lan to be initiated by the SB2 - this I can not do. Does the code snippet help me in any way? If I must I am prepared to install a Linux box just to get my hands on gunzip...

I can tell there are several requests for this wake on lan functionality - does anybody know the status? (whether it will be implemented at all etc.)
