Upgrade Question

I am running SlimServer 5.3.1 on Windows.  How do I upgrade to 5.4?  Uninstall 5.3.1 then install the upgrade?  Seems like I will loose all of my settings if I do this.  Is there another way?

uninstalling should not remove the preferences file. You can also simply
install over the existing version. For the truly paranoid, simply make a
backup copy of the prefs file:
C:\Program Files\SlimServer\server\slimserver.pref
