    New plugin: NoSetup.pm

    No.

I looked and it matches perfectly: real tabs, no extra whitespace.

    > What release are you using, btw?

The latest (v 0.2) from your website.

Do the file permissions and file owner make any difference?

Strings can also fail to parse if the line endings are DOS instead of UNIX.
Other bad things can happen as well, but strings are usually the most obvious
result of that problem. Try using a right-click, 'save link as' download,
instead of clicking on the link, then saving the resulting page. cutting and
pasting to notepad then saving will also come up with DOS endings, and trigger
    this problem.

    cheers,

    I don't think so.

I'm lost... You said you turned it on using the Server Settings? But this
means that it was - at least once - possible to display its name. Could
you please restart your server manually using the slimserver.pl -d_plugin
command line? Then go to the settings, enable/disable the plugin and watch
    the output.

Do you use a stock 5.4.0 server? If nothing helps (though I don't see any
reason why) you could still download the latest 5.4.1 tarball, put it in
another folder and start it manually from there (just to see wether this
helps). This would not touch your existing installation.

We're talking about a .zip file to download ;-)

The strangest thing about it is the fact that it seems to have been
displayed in the settings page. It already needed the PLUGIN_MH_NOSETUP
string to accomplish this. That string must have gone lost somewhere on
it's way to the plugins section...

the the other data to look for would be using d_plugins in the command line, in
order to see all the details of loading the plugins. Any other parse errors in
the plugin, can also offset the strings or leave them not imported properly.
