    Lazy Search Music repo missing?

I have installed LMS 7.9 in a Docker container on my QNAP server, and have everything running properly. The only thing that I couldn't restore is the Lazy Search plugin. The repo at https://github.com/hickinbottoms/squ...aster/repo.xml doesn't seem to work. I can download the .zip of the last archive from github, but I can't figure out how to install this .zip without going through the repository.

Does anyone know how to do this?

    Thanks!

    Lazy Search Music repo missing?

Check Settings/Information. There should be a folder listed ending in
"Plugins" (uppercase, "s" at the end). That's the location you should
    extract the file to.

Aha! That seemed to work. Unpacked it in InstalledPlugins/Plugins along with all of the other plugins.

Unfortunately, LMS then states "Plugin updates are available (Lazy Search Music)". When it restarts, the extracted folder LazySearch2 is deleted from InstalledPlugins/Plugins.

The plugin-data.yaml file shows this entry:
    Code:
    LazySearch2:
      basedir: /mnt/state/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/LazySearch2
      creator: Stuart Hickinbottom
      defaultState: enabled
      description: PLUGIN_LAZYSEARCH2_DESC
      email: stuart@hickinbottom.com
      error: INSTALLERROR_SUCCESS
      homepageURL: http://www.hickinbottom.com/lazysearch
      id: a8cab4c9-904c-4f41-877f-276c29e6edea
      module: Plugins::LazySearch2::Plugin
      name: PLUGIN_LAZYSEARCH2
      optionsURL: plugins/LazySearch2/settings/basic.html
      targetApplication:
        id: Squeezebox Server
        maxVersion: 7.9+
        minVersion: '7.6'
      type: '2'
      version: 3.6.5
Even when I modify the install.xml file such that
    Code:
      targetApplication:
        id: SqueezeCenter
        maxVersion: '*'
        minVersion: '7.6'
    it still doesn't work.

How can I prevent it from trying to update?

Aha! That seemed to be the correct location!

Unfortunately, even though it appeared to install correctly, LMS page states "Plugin updates available (Lazy Search Music)". As soon as I visit the Settings/Plugins page, it forces the restart, which then deletes the InstalledPlugins/Plugins/LazySearch2 folder.

I did notice that the plugin-data.yaml file has the entry
    Code:
    LazySearch2:
      basedir: /mnt/state/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/LazySearch2
      creator: Stuart Hickinbottom
      defaultState: enabled
      description: PLUGIN_LAZYSEARCH2_DESC
      email: stuart@hickinbottom.com
      error: INSTALLERROR_SUCCESS
      homepageURL: http://www.hickinbottom.com/lazysearch
      id: a8cab4c9-904c-4f41-877f-276c29e6edea
      module: Plugins::LazySearch2::Plugin
      name: PLUGIN_LAZYSEARCH2
      optionsURL: plugins/LazySearch2/settings/basic.html
      targetApplication:
        id: Squeezebox Server
        maxVersion: 7.9+
        minVersion: '7.6'
      type: '2'
      version: 3.6.5
Even when I modified the install.xml file within the plugin's folder to give:
    Code:
      targetApplication:
        id: SqueezeCenter
        maxVersion: '*'
        minVersion: '7.6'
    it still doesn't work.

Is there a way to prevent LMS from trying to update this plugin?

    Thanks!

Oh, don't use the InstalledPlugins folder. That's where managed plugins would get installed. Sorry I wasn't clearer there. Is there another Plugins entry in your plugins search path?

Yes, I was able to unzip the archive into /usr/share/squeezeboxserver/Plugins and everything works now!

    Thanks, Michael!
