What happened to KCLU in Thousand Oaks?

Does anyone know why KCLU does not transmit on to the SBB anymore? It's been out for the last couple of weeks. I can listen to them on my computer, but not the SBB.

I can navigate to KCLU through the SBB Radio>Local>FM stations and select it, but nothing plays.

Try this. Highlight the station on the screen then press + to access the context menu and select play from there. This works on the Radio and Orange Squeeze.

Thanks for the reply, slartibartfast, but it still won't work. I even tried installing the Tunein app and bringing up KCLU as a Tunein favorite. KCLU works on my tablet with Tunein and the KCLU app, but not with the Squeezebox.

Is this NPR for California Coast?

    Plays okay on my Radio.

If I try to play it directly it doesn't play but using the context menu works for some reason. Did you definitely use the context menu?

I was surprised to hear the BBC World Service when I tried it .

The URL is now a https one ( https://kclustream.callutheran.edu:8090/kclump3 ) and so will not play directly on many SB players as https is not supported - I'm guessing you'll need a new version 7.9.1 of LMS and probably enable proxied streaming for the player.

If the station is a NPR one - then BBC World service is not "unexpected"

Castalla, yes this is "NPR for the California Coast."

Slartibartfast, I'm not really sure if I'm using the context menu:
On the SBB, I navigate to Radio>Local>FM>KCLU, then push the "+" button on the panel of the SBB,. The screen says,"Adding to end of playlist" and it stops there.
With the Squeeze Ctrl app on my tablet, I navigate to Radio>Local>FM>KCLU, then push the "+" button next to the KCLU line and nothing happens. One thing it does do when I touch the KCLU line is flash a message for about ╝ second that says, "Connection reset by remote host https://kclustream.callutheran.edu:8090/kclump3"

Bpa, I am not running LMSůdo I need to? I can log onto mysqueezebox.com and see that my firmware version is 57. Is LMS the software needed to run your computer's mp3's on the SBB, and you are required to have your computer on to do this?

Are castalla and Slartibartfast running LMS in order for KCLU to play?

    Thanks for the help.

    Hi

    Yes, I am using LMS.

But, I found the station via - Radio - Search - KCLU

It's an mp3 stream - so it should just work on the radio

I am using LMS as well but like Bpa said it does appear to be an https stream so maybe these don't work via mysqueezebox.

Connection reset by remote host https://kclustream.callutheran.edu:8090/kclump3

    Time for a pi, methinks
