    I thought it was the fact that VB2.3 is 32 bit only that causes the issue with Spotty. No?

    No, it's also the fact that 2.3 is using the i386 instruction set, while
    the spotty helper app requires i686.

    So do you think a 32 bit Daphile installation will use i686 and possibly be Spotty comptabile ? if so I can give one a spin.

    I don't know, really. You better ask in a Daphile or Spotty related
    thread. Or start a new one with both keywords in the subject line.
