    Official display not working properly

    Recently i switched to piCorePlayer.
I have some troubles with my (official 7") Pi Display. Touch is not working on the lower part of the screen.
Is there any chance to adjust this by software or is it a hardware issue? Is there a tool to check the display?

Sorry for my bad english and thanks for any help
    Patrick

    hi Patrick,

I assume you are talking about Jivelite?

Is your issue on all screens or only some?

    regards
    Greg

Yes i am talking about Jivelite.
    All screens are affected.

I already switched the screen upside down but this also switches the problem. So it is always on the same physical side of the display. Hope you understand what i am talking about.

You can run the ts_print program, to confirm it's the screen or not.

You need to stop jivelite first by killing jivelite.sh and then Quit jivelite.

Can be run from an ssh session, there's no need to attach a kb.

    Code:
    export TSLIB_TSDEVICE=/dev/input/`cat /proc/bus/input/devices | awk '/FT5406 memory based driver/{for(a=0;a>=0;a++){getline;{if(/mouse/==1){ print $NF;exit 0;}}}}'`
    sudo -E ts_print
The tc_print program will report the coordinates of where you touch the screen.

    Code:
    1492712727.404063: 35 16 255
    1492712727.464056: 34 16 255

There's an option on the web gui tweaks page in advanced mode to set jivelite autostart to no, save your settings and reboot pcp.
