    No sound

I'm sure I'm doing something wrong but I don't know what.

Switching LMS from Vortexbox to raspberry pi 3 w/pi core. I opened up LMS and selected piCore (instead of vortexbox) and there is no sound when I try and play music.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

    Ahem! Sounds like lots!

    You have a Touch.

You have a vortexbox - running as LMS with music library.

The Touch is connecting to the Vortexbox.

You have a pi running both LMS and acting as a player

You need to configure LMS on pCP first

Then connect Touch to the pCP LMS

You need to deactivate the player on pCP (unless you really want it)

    ....

[Can you switch off the Vortexbox LMS? I think you want Spotty - this has to be installed on the pCP LMS]
Touch, Logitech Radio, Logitech UE Radio, O2 Joggler + SqpOS
UPnPBridge - 2 paired Sonos Play1 speakers; Rocki - Sony SRS-BTM8 speaker; Pioneer WX-SMA1 speaker; - PURE One Flow internet radio: PURE Jongo S3x ; Jongo T2; Libratone Zipp
    Castbridge - Chromecast 1 + Chromecast Audio
    AirplayBridge - Loewe Airspeaker
    SB Player - Fire TV

For the moment, forget the player! Let's get your Touch connected.

On Touch - Home - My Music - Switch Library - select pCP

[until you mount the VB music folder, there won't be any music files]

... but at least you will have the Touch connecting to pCP.

    Good!

Hope somebody can advise on mounting - it's done via the pCP web interface. Then you need to go into LMS settings and tell LMS the mount point. LMS will then scan your music library.

ok, mounted the mofo, got lms going, spotty working...everything seems to be ok.

Thanks to all involved. This can be rather intimidating for those of us who don't jack w/computers much (except to surf for porn).

If y'all are ever in Texas, I'll buy some Tito's Vodka and we can crank up the volume!
