    Can anyone else confirm this?

Yes, I've noticed this a few times when Spotify has created a playlist for me based on what I'm playing (or maybe it's the LMS keep the music going that's created it?).

I had assumed it was because the next track that it had lined up was not playable in my region, gets a little confused and jumps to the next available track lopping the end off the current track as a result.

It has nothing to do with that. I am playing back a "normal" playlist with all tracks available.

    Play Podcasts

    Hi there,

does have anybody of you guys an idea how to play a podcast with the spotty plugin? The menu item "podcasts" is not been shown at the squeezebox as it is shown at the android app. An I found no way to add a podcast to a playlist which would make me able to have so on the squeezebox.

I am becoming desperate on that issue...
    Thanks for any help

I think I saw this happen on one of my kids' radio a few days ago. IMHO
it must be something on Spotify's end, as the Spotty code has not
    changed recently.

Podcasts currently aren't accessible through the API. See

    [Announce] Spotty v1.4.0

v1.4.0 is on its way to you. This is big news - for some of the unhappy (so far) Synology users: this build adds support for ARMv5 (armel) based NAS devices. I've had a lot of feedback from Synology users missing this. So hopefully this good news finds you well.

    Other (minor) changes:
    • Play back tracks with the correct account.
    • Re-factored the account handling. There's no more any "default" account. Just use what needs to and can be used.
    • Removed the audio cache option. It's been buggy and mostly useless.

Thanks again to forum user jr01 and Jörg Krause who've helped me tremendously to compile Spotty for the ARMv5 processor!

    Thank you Michael.
Will you now also be able to look at repackaging the nightlies for Synology now that pinkdot has called it a day?

Totally off-topic. But as I mentioned in other related threads: I'm
currently struggling to get the existing builds working. Don't expect me
    to add more soon...

OK sorry. I was under the impression that the official Synology LMS releases won't work with Spotty that was all.

There are minor limitations. But Pinkdot's builds are still available if
you want to be on the latest and greatest.
