That's true. As long as the seller has units in stock (2 left at the moment), this is the more comfortable way. Before you toss the old PCB, please let me know if you would sell it and at what price.

$80 more? The price of this item to me in the UK appears to be $9,174.95!
Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known

ROFL, I'm now seeing the same price here. So probably the seller noticed that his item was a little underpriced. But everything beyond 250 US-$ is outright crazy for this PCB.
I'm sure it was around 190 US-$ until yesterday. What the...?

I'll happily repair Transporter displays as well for EU people, including UK, by the way. It's not that expensive eventually. 150 EUR for both displays, the repair work, and one year warranty on both. Shipping is on top of that but that's it.

This seller usually has more than what he states.

No, No, No. The seller (Hotdogtec) does this when he goes on vacation. He doesn't want to take down his auctions so he inflates the price so no one buys. All his inventory (even a mouse) is currently like this and it's the 3rd time he's done this in two years.

    Hello Johannes

I'll contact you in PM to get a VFD display if you still have stock,

ALso, on your tutorial for the broken woofer problem, you mention the possibility to get a replacement, but you don't give any reference of a compatible woofer ?
(I think some woofer made for ceiling inclusion look compatible to me.)
    thanks !
